北美是华文文学的荒漠

小时候在国内的时候 真幸福 既有杂志又有报刊 还有各种小说，大部头。悲惨世界 巴黎圣母院  红与黑  源氏物语 红灯梦 伊豆的舞女  等等哦 知音 人之初 读者 萌芽 意林  郭敬明 韩寒 安妮宝贝 ， 村上春树  安娜卡列尼娜 战争与和平 川端康成  列夫托尔斯泰  屠格涅夫 小仲马 大仲马  各式各样的网络读物 武侠小说 都市言情 流行读物 和经典读物 任君挑选。
在国内的时候 我是一个疯狂的阅读者，如饥似渴，看到什么读什么，恨不得把图书馆都搬到家里
除了这些文字性的 漫画我也看了不少 日本漫画只要是你看过的 基本没有我没看过的 最喜欢圣斗士，陀螺战士，可乐小子，游戏王，神奇宝贝等等。看这些漫画，不是为了提高文学修养 而是为了消遣和提高自己的空间想象能力。

一届又一届的新概念作文大赛 每年都是我兴奋的时候。各路才子 层出不穷，百家争鸣 很是有趣。


可是人算不如天算， 本以为来了北美就来到了天堂 做梦也没想到


一来到这里我就变成了一个瞎子和哑巴和聋子。 虽然基本的英文看 听 说都没有什么大问题 但是一旦叫我看报纸 听radio 听笑话 看加拿大本地的小说

我就始终摸不着头脑，
他们到底在搞些什么?? 曾经看过一本加拿大的经典小说 好像还是哥特式 我就完全不知道它在讲什么，看这种东西 还不如看金庸

学英文学了多年 还是对西方文化不了解，每年阅读量都增大 但是还是对西方文化从骨子里感到排斥
特别是加拿大人写的那些所谓的经典小说 真是不敢恭维

美利坚的东西比加拿大的文学要好  美剧 现代小说 哪一样都比加拿大的文化要赏心悦目

然而我始终认为日本的东西比西方的文化要好看，中港台的东西 比日文的要好看。仅仅论流行方面
经典书籍 现在的作家我看是写不出来了。美利坚为首 开设了creating writing这个专业 从此一批又一批商业化的作家层出不穷
根本不能打动人 给人感动。那些东西都是我们这个时代的一层浮华和躁动。是对文学这两个字的侮辱

这块北美的土壤根本种不出华文文学灿烂的果实。港台文学比大陆要进步 是因为发达的经济和开明的政治。
北美遍地都是英语 哪怕土壤再肥沃 也结不出岭南的荔枝

王小波的 时代三部曲曾经是一代人的精神家园，在北美却变成了一个遥远的传说
台湾的李敖的率真和犀利为他赢得了大量的支持者 （虽然也有不少骂名） 在北美却变成了一个无名氏
日本的川端康成在热海旅馆里凌晨三点看到的海棠花开 在北美变成了一朵花瓶里的假玫瑰

我的人在北美 心却在东亚！  北美 你是一个毫无情趣的烂情人

独木不成林
We need infrastructure, capital, human experience, government support, publisher, media,
talented writers, specialized schools, social support and acceptance.
Even you bring 莫言 who won Nobel price before here, still useless.
We have thousands of years literature developing history,
here in canada, almost a desert. or ruin.
You need historical accumulation and time for literature development.

if you ever in the cultural circle, then you can feel a sense of lost here.
Once We have so many talented young writers in China.
Now in Canada, we have nothing but english. It is a problem. We lost our cultural community costing more than 10 years to build up. WE are in ruin

BTW I will be there every 3 months from now on.  Visiting my MMs and may be New MM too.
