Clothes design and jelwery design. Which institution in the states accept international students in those directions and with relatively low tuition

NYC could be fine , but i worry about the criminal rate there.

Where was the last time you were in NYC?

House prices went up so much that even Harlem is not affordable now.
No lower class persons can afford to live in NYC unless they are in RENT controlled housing.  Some rich widows will forever live in those places and do not want to move out and may decorate the unit very nice.

No crimes when there are all the rich folks.  I remembered once ten years ago there was a disturbance around Times square and immediately Police acted on and showed up there.  Zero tolerance.
Meat packing area, Naval base in Brooklyn are being developed.

Wish they will upgrade the MTA subway to lower noice and barrier to prevent suicide or accidental falls on the tracks like HK and Asia.

Arts are good in NYC, problem is the admission issue and living expenses.  SOHO area got a lot of boutique shops.

Why are you keeping changes in your careers?  When do you want to earn your own living and graduate from school.  I can call that               escape from reality  or   Tao Bei Zhen Sha.   Living in fantasy.

I will go to NYC IF someone living in Upper east area will help me settle there.
Otherwize two much trouble for me.
I do not want to beg for food on the street. I do not have rich friends in NYC. Sad.

i like fashion industry and luxury industry. am looking for an institution admitting me to study there.
However, if my living quality is TOO low there, i would not go.
In TO, at least I have some spare money for personal pleasure. If in NYC, I need pay a lot for housing.
Then I would not go.  
I believe housing in NYC is more expensive than DT Toronto? Not sure
I have multiple talents. Either natural science or humanity or art. focused on none of them though.
That is my stupid life style.

Before I move to NYC,  may ask my parent for at least 1 million .. not sure whether they would give me though

NYC is the most prosperous city in the states, attractive for me.
am thinking how to make me eligible to work at Wall Street.
Much much more exciting than quiet Toronto.
But sadly, i do not have MBA, why the hell will Wall Street want me? Silicon Valley? No IT diploma!

Come on.
Not as easy as you think. sorry, but you do not know the insider information in this industry.
Never as simple as what you think. Risk, safety, competition, connection, brand image, law, recruitment, customer, management, targeting , training, promotion  etc.  
A lot of invisible but important factors in this business.
Maybe there is a mafia. i am not sure.
From a newbie store to a famous store, you do not know how much effort you would have to make, how much pain and anxiety you would endure. Perhaps your newbie store would close soon with a probability.
Just see those newbie stores , some of them closed very soon after opening for a short time.
And you need to consider our weak CAD, economy, law environment too.
Comparing with years ago, now it is not a good time doing this business.
Our golden time forever past. More than one store is walking its down road recently.
There are changes happening everyday some of them would have a big effect on your business.
Please observe one of our stores no longer advertised here, you may sense something about why.

It is hard if not impossible to establish your newbie  and 分一杯羹 from the big pie.

There exists entry barrier you cannot ignore.

there are a lots of details you need to pay attention. Do not think this business is easy and cozy like lying in the couch and making money at the same time.
