Main complaint is the Culture. No manners.
Eg. Smoking.
I tried to convert one person at a time. One bro (looks educated) in hotel lobby lit up, I gently said that Bro there is no ash tray here, and he walked out to finish the smoke.
Another group of guys on business in the restaurant went out to smoke. I went out to thank them for being considerate to encourage their good behavior.
Eg. Cutting into line
Complain about an older couple cutting in, saying Chinese will lose face because of them. This is in customer crossing at Shenzhen.
Same with some young thugs getting ahead at the line too, but did not try anything but to give a dirty look and blocked him a little. Do not want to be beat up by the thugs. |
