China encourage Potato as staples

I remember when I was in China, I ate that Chinese style potato slices in luxurious restaurants too.
I am a restaurant guy, not home cooking guy, I have huge amount of experience on restaurant.
In my city, all the time I booked a big sized 包厢/雅座 private VIP room. Never seat outside sharing the open space with many others.  You know in China, you can smoke in restaurant, the smell is killing me.
That is one of the reasons why I always booked private room.

At I sat in private room for 100+ times.
The strange thing is after I came to TO, I seldom saw restaurant with private rooms. WHy the hell the owner did not set up some? I can afford it and many others too.
extra fee OK. who the hell cares.

The only place with private room I saw is a japanese high class place. The private room is small though.. Never saw big grand private rooms here.

The CHinese style potato slices you can require either spicy or not spicy. I remember.

That is how many years ago?  maybe my infor. is out of date.

Please try some sushi and sashimi in high class J-restaurants in TO.
The quality is high and the service is wonderful.
I saw a lot of Chinese waitresses rude to me. Then bye, will never visit you again.

And I have been to many CHinese restaurants here too. The best I tried is HK dimsum .
But still Japan high class restaur. is  better.  For Chinese cuisine here in TO , you
cannot expect too high. They do not know the definition of service.

Also I heard 名门金宴 here in markham is good， never tried though. too far.

Thus, per your info that China Govt going to bring potato as main source of food. It's very innovative ah.
Indeed, Kingdom of 747 already 1 step ahead that it brought in small-potato as side-kick of big-punk-chew.

What is missing from the VIP room.
Nice people.

But it will be filled by phony guys and girls and ready to CONNECT and ENJOY good life.  Just empty life.

Remember a friend indeed is a friend indeed.

Ya that place is not bad. There are only a place or 2 that serve good chinese food, as in luxury type
