I read with dismay in Chinese paper that refugee assistance for meal allowance is of a high number.
Verified against the official Canadian web site and sure enough.
Consider myself is a liberal but even I cannot be believe it.
Here is the section from official Canada site:
It states the government will reimburse up to $15 per person for breakfast, $16 for lunch and $30 for dinner.
Hotels must ensure that access to mini-bars, movie rentals, long-distance calls and other pay services are disabled.
No wonder that the writer in paper saying really Canadians are REFUGEES.
I myself if not going out to eat (even then a bowl of Wonton Noodle is less than 10 CAD), my food budget will not be over 20 a day, not 61 a day. This is no refugee budget. Who really allocate the funds and I can see the bureaucrat will be collect over 100K annual salary to administer this.
Shame about this totally. |
