This is an unusual request. I want to treat a western girl, who has lived in Beijing for 5 years, to a good, more traditional massage as I would find in Beijing or Hong Kong. She has tried a few places and is disappointed with the overall quality and lack of knowledge at the places she has been.
Most of the private places advertising here will not take women because of 5-0.

Try Sutherland-Chan and they have several locations in the GTA.
No good??? That is legid and I have been going there for over one year. Let me know if you find a better one. I could not get any good ones in Beijing and Chengdu and not much cheaper than TO. Will try for Shenzhen next again. Was there just for Massage back in 2010.
Completely legit as there are no private rooms. It's all done in the large open room. Maybe a bit clinical but massage is definitely top notch. Jenny is the owner and has a nickname of 怪手 in the massage circle. I know some newly established legit shops will actually hire her to teach their masseuse. Being the grand master and at $130 an hour, she's definitely not cheap (others sifu's charge less). Give her a try if you want to impress your friend or yourself. Most of her staff is Japanese as they serve a lot of Japanese tourist in the Chinatown location.
