Boxing Day does not exist in US.  It is supposed to take care of LEFTOVER after shopping season (think from England)
BF started in US, to get the buying frenzy going for Xmas.  You will be amazed on how many things I bought that I do not need that was ON SALE.
So in terms of getting products out, definitely BF for merchants.  Prices should be cheaper.

At least BBuy US is getting more reasonable. Open on Thanksgiving from 5PM to 1AM. Then closes and reopen at 8AM. We used to get out in the cold 3am in the morning to line up to get the doorcrashers.
