I don't know whether you guys follow UFC, 2 may be 3 years' ago, the main draw was GSP (George St. Piere) of Montreal, Canada.  After he retired, there was a female fighter by the name of Ronda Rousy who dominated the sport by forcing female opponents into submission via an "arm bar", all within the first 20", which was unheard of.

Anyway, NOV15 2015, Ronda was matched against Holly Holm, and was the hot favourite to win.

Atlas, disaster struck.  Holm beat Rousy convincingly via a leg kick to the head, & Ronda was knocked out.

Holm has terrific leg kicks, lightning quick & strong, Ronda was out-boxed and out-classed.  The result was so convincing!

If you have never watched UFC, watch the last 5 to 10' of the above video, and catch the re-match (if there is one) which is at east 6 months away.

The other reason that the fight between Ronda & Holly generated so much interest among MMA fans was that both females are quite pretty, i.e. the appeal was more than just looks.

The video above re the fight is the "best" that I could find for you guys because all others have been "lifted" due to copy right concerns.

Holly's leg kick is something to behold!

Plain and simple, Rousey was stupid going in with her game plan.

She's a submission/judo fighter and she decided to try and box with a former boxer.

Rousey needs to expand her repertoire if she is to regain her top spot.

Even if there is a re-match, I don't think Ronda is a match for Holly.

Holly was world's best female boxer in her weight class for a few years B4 going to MMA.  She has not only boxing skills, she has leg kicks - a longer reach which Ronda does not have and cannot be developed in a short time.

Ronda's expertise is in grappling, i.e. judo.  In the fight, she tried grappling 2 times, one successful, but Holly escaped/got out of the arm lock quickly; the other time, Holly threw Ronda to the canvas instead.

On top of it all, Ronda was out of shape, breathing heavily as of 2nd Round, may be she was not used to fighting more than 20".  Holly was faster, danced around like Mohammed Ali at his prime, and her face was completely unmarked after the fight!
