The Canadian people have spoken!

The people want change and they got change.  Whether it is change for the better or change for the worse remains to be seen.

NDP has been relegated to its rightful place - a fringe party of also-runs.

Liberals won by a CONVINCING majority which means Liberals can serve a full term unless they want to call for election early which I doubt.

While I agree that spending on infrastructure is the best move to stimulate a sagging economy, the Government will run into deficits, and the budget will not balance itself, otherwize all finance and economic books will have to be re-written.

The plus side of Trudeau's win is that Liberals are a major political party and certainly not lacking in talents in all areas of the government.  Let's hope that JT will make full use of the Party's  智囊團!

It is a time of consolation then move forward, at full speed.

he already planed to run on a 3 year decifit. that budget balancing part is taken out of context and being used by the cons to mislead people. Running on deficit will keep the M2 at a high level, and the Canadian dollar will stay relatively weak. will see more chinese hot money flowing into the real estate market probably

they were doing pretty bad a couple years back, that's why the Liberals only had like 40 seats back in 2011 (dropped from 70 something from the previous election). The cons run the country for a decade, they didn't fix some of the problems and these things kept accumulating, and people are totally fed up with them. They had a good chance but they screwed up everything. Hope Justin is half as good as his dad.

Justin's Mom, while still being Mrs Prime Minister, gave Sr. Trudeau a "green hat" by fucking around with members (plural) of Rolling Stone rock band who were drug users, etc., etc.

They (plural) then talked & wrote about their experiences with Mrs. Prime Minister.  Poor Sr. Trudeau!  

Sr. Trudeau was liberal-minded enough to ask her to come back be a "normal" Mrs. Prime Minster which she refused, & would rather enjoy a liberated life style.  

The marriage ended while Sr. Trudeau was still PM of Canada.

Thats his burden, but I have a feeling he is inheriting the legacy from his father politically. Hope he can overturn this circumstances.
