If I were to compile a modern list of top 3 worst presidents, the list will be:

1.  Jimmy Carter.  He deserted a long time ally in the Middle East & an oil producer  - the Shah of Iran, & ushered in the radical Muslims.
The reason for turning his back on the Shah was becuse he was not democratically elected by the people.  Obviously, he did not study history, what about Saudi Arabia, UAE, Syria, to name just a few, none of which had a democratically elected leader.

To save his legacy which had nothing to brag about, he ordered a rescue mission of the hostages held by Iran as a last ditch to save his 2nd term election campaign. The resuce mission failed miserably because he wanted to be in second-by-second control of the operation, not allowing military commanders who were on the spot to make instant decisions, to claim full credit of the operation.

As soon as Ronald Reagon sworn in as President to replace Jimmy Carter, Iran released the hostage as a final slap on the face of Jimmy Carter!

2.  George W. Bush.  Midway in the Afghanistan War, he turned his attention to Iraq because Saddm Hussein attempted to assisinate the Sr. Bush (after retirement) when he was visitng Kuwait for Sr. Bush's Desert Storm campain against Iraq.  Jr Bush, typical of a Texan, allowed personal feelings into international politics.

Due to diverting military resources to Iraq, he allowed Osama Bin Laden & a small group of followers to escape when they were cornered in the mountains of Bora Bora.

He promised Saddam Hussein's top military brass if they would not offer resistance, they willl be re-listed under the new Iraq military.  The promise was not kept which resulted in ex-Hussein troops became ISIS of today.

He insisted on pushing democracy into Afghanistan & Iraq when the two countries were not even ready which became a mess up to this date.

3.  Barak Obama.  Appeasing Iran for a short term Nuclear Deal, if finally approved, will be the root of WW-III.

Turning a blind eye to gradual Soviet aggression, encouraged Putin's move on Crimear & now Ukraine.  Putin's  plan is to return Russia to  USSR's former glory, Obama still hasn't noticed it.

Siding with Japan, a WW-II aggressor, encouraging Japan to do dirty work for USA, will back fire one day.

I think its too early to judge them. It will take 50-100 years down the road before history can take full account of their successes and failures as well as long-term repercussions of their policies and provide a fair and objective assessment. Right now its too early to say and any opinions are bound to be biased.

For Jimmy Carter, we can pass judgment right now.

The radical Islams in Iran would not become what they are today without JC.  A few years back, even an American TV documentary name JC as the culprit.

Just imagine, if Iran, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait - all oil rick countries, were all on the side of USA, we would not have the same Middle East problems of today.

Anyway, JC should be gone (he has cancer & has spread to his brain) in a few months, that documentary for sure will re-surface.

For Bush, it is a fact that when Bin Laden & followers were surrounded in the mountains of Bora Bora, he moved US troops to the Iraq theatre, and declined ground commanders request for delaying troop withdrawal or in the absence of US troops, to mine the only escape route (because USA was a signatory of an international agreement not to use land mines).  Iraq's northern warlords were paid to do the fighting and capture Bin Laden, but the warlords also accepted Bin Laden's money & allowed him to escape.

"Exporting democracy" to Afghanistan & Iraq was just as bad as international terrorism!

Obama is the only one that we cannot judge right now because the nuclear deal with Iran is not yet a done deal.

记得当时小布什总统上台时,新闻联播播报美国愿与中国达成友好关系,两国首脑会见,
结果,不多久美军方飞机便炸了中国大使馆,理由还是失误炸错了。。。。
有些国家和人真是不好说

China bought the remains of a stealth fighter which was shot down in Croatia (?) and store it in the embassy.

USA bombed China's embassy to ensure that this hi-tech secret will not fall into the hands of China.  Luckily, China moved the aircraft somewhere else B4 the embassy was bombed, that is why China has stealth technology.

The disappearance of Malaysian Airways  enroute from KUA to Beijing is a similar story.

Since the last posting, lifting the sanction on Iran is a done deal, orchestrated by Obama with a pitiful legacy in mind.

Let's watch Iran's latest move to embarrass Obama when reconciliation ink is still wet:

1.  Iran tested some kind of ballistic missiles one of which is definitely in violation an UN Resolution.
2.   http://www.cnn.com/2016/03/10/po ... r-attack/index.html
That's what Obama gets for treating an international terrorist financier as a friend while betraying long-standing friends and allies in the Middle East, namely Saudi Arabia and Israel.

The latest news about Iran's missile:  USA, France, UK all team up to press UN for sanction against Iran following the recent missile test which is in direct violation an UN Resolution.

The Iran deal's ink is still wet, and Iran has already violated an UN Resolution, here goes Obama's legacy!
This is the beginning, more will come!

A country with no principle and politicians do not study history and geography, will reap the harvest of a so-called legacy!

On GW Bush.
Worst case in attacking Iraq Saddam with WMD  excuse.  No way Jose.
At least they should learn from US cops to plant a gun into the shot dead suspect without weapon,  plant a WMD in Iraq when they could not find ANY.  Dumb Americans.

On J Carter,
I think he may not do the right thing.  BUT he is the MOST TRUSTED ex president and a real Christian (though I am not religious) good person.

Suggested that L B J may be a good president in recent history.  In spite of the bad things happening in Vietnam.

At least they should ...

1.  Invasion of Iraq was a wrong move without capturing Bin Ladin first but Jr. Bush was thinking of Iraqi oil and revenge Hussein's attempted assassination of Sr. Bush.  Jr. Bush was also ignorant of history and the balance of power in the middle east.
There was WMD in Iraq but US did not put enough boots on the ground to guard the chemical weapons factories and Syria took full advantage of it by sending in people and stripped the chemical factories bare.

2.  Carter, the peanut farmer created the Islamic extremists of today which is the source of today's problems + he is a religious nut.  I trust him too but as a naive kid for his innocent yet nonsensical thoughts.

3.  LBJ was the victim of US' limited warfare doctrine.
