Kimchi & SARS.. need to be careful?

with the new SARS happening in South Korea.. maybe we now need to be a bit more careful with when trying out the new Kimchi here.. what you think?

Yeah there is no good new kimchi other than a few gems like chanel etc.

Hoping the sept wave is good ;)

I think the odds of getting into a traffic accident on your way to see the MM is much greater than your odds of getting SARS.

I had a session with a Korean sp today and we spent close to  5 minutes just talking about that .
She is scare and at one point she mentioned that two people have died from this virus!

first of all, it's MERS -- not SARS.

there are important differences, of which are laid out in a lancet article ("is MERS another SARS" Lancet Infect Dis. 2013 Sep;13(9):727-8). you can find this on pubmed. while it might be more deadly, it's much less contagious than SARS.

it's not a widescale epidemic....yet. so worry not
