Yes, it is true that we had been hacked. Although our data was backup already, due to software problems (with the older version of the forum template), each time we restore the forum after an attack, the member lists gets wiped, and users need to register again.

That is why we decide this time to go with a completely new and improved software template that should be more stable and secure.

All the old post on the prior version is still there for viewing, but it is locked down (so no replies). I will be copying some of the more informative postings over here over the next few days.

So sad, there is no known foolproof systems/platforms/firewalls...and there will never be, as long as there is internet, hackers can always find a way to hack !
