The video above is a panel discussion of the latest developments in Crimea and Russia which might affect East-West relations immensely, e.g. Russia's claim that MH370 was downed by Ukraine's air-to-air missiles, i.e. the sanctions are not justified; Ukraine's desire to join NATO Vs Russia's reaction; Russian's move to stabilize Ruble's downfall; the latest rocket test with 17-ton's payload; Putin's move towards 2016 election, etc.

Very "heavy" discussion.

Of the US and Russia, I root for Russia.

The US are the biggest hypocrites. They are blaming Russia for wanting to keep Ukraine allied or at least neutral. Whereas they actively supported and fostered the anti-Russian parties in Ukraine and engineered a coup to install the current NATO-friendly anti-Russian regime.

Looking at the flip-scenario, Cuba. When Cuba moved into the Russian orbit, the US threatened nuclear war which they knew would lead to annihilation of the human race. Remember the Cuban Missile Crisis? It was the "big bad Soviets" who exercised restraint to avoid a third world war. The "democratic" US only cares what it wants and don't give a fuck about anyone or anything else.

If I remember correctly, USA was planning to replace the short range missiles in Turkey anyway due to obsolescence.  Anyway, on paper it looked like a fair deal.

Both countries "saved face" & the world was spared of a nuclear war:

1.  USSR's supply ships & escort   vessels turned around.  Missiles on Cuba were dismantled & shipped back to USSR.
(Nikita Krushchev (check spelling) was later purged by the Party for putting the country at risk of a nuclear war which USSR will not win)
2.  USA removed missiles in Turkey.
