GOLF GTI Vs. GOLF GTD:
The Golf GTD will be available in Canada soon (I think), because the Golf-bodied TDI is no longer available as per VW-Germany's website, & in its place is the GTD.
The "D" stands for diesel engine. So it is slightly slower than the GTI, but miles better in fuel economy, & on top of that, it is about C$1,500 cheaper than the GTI.
Aside from the engine, GTI & GTD are the same. |

The Porsche 911 came in as a defender, as it won this coveted title of the last 2 years, but was dethroned this year! (I won’t tell you which car is the new champ, you must view the video!)

This is a "Head to Head to Head" comparison between 3 hatch backs, all with 1.6L engine but only one is available in Canada, & luckily, that one is the best among the three as per tester, also per BEST 2014 Driver's Car which I posted under a different Heading:

2015's SUBARU WRX Vs. 2014's FORD FIESTA ST:

The WRX has a larger engine, costs more, & marginally faster than the Fiesta on the race track, but the reviewer picked the Fiesta! Wow, that's quite a compliment for the Fiesta.
