Don't let "2017" discourage you, this model was introduced in early 2017, there won't be any changes in 2018. However, I checked with VW dealership and was advised that there will be a manual version in 2018,
while 2017's models are all automatics.

Please note "manual" is an endangered species, there will become extinct in a few years time!

It is 10+" longer than 2017 model. For Canadian market, the Tiguans are made in Mexico with a 2.0L engine generating 180 HP.
