If you did not watch last night's AGT 2012. Here is an update.
The show is now in its final leg with 6 contestants remaining.
Last night, Phillip Phillips sang 2 songs which were both difficult for the ordinary viewers to appreciate. I think Phillip is in danger of being eliminated unless a lot of teenage girls voted for him because of his looks. We will know the results tonight.
Jessica Sanchez is only good with Whitney Houston songs. Once she is outside of WH's songs, her performance has been just so-so. She was eliminated 2 episodes back, but the judges exercised their only "save" & brought her back.
Joshua, however, got better & better. I still believe he will be one of the finalists.
I cannot see the other finalist yet.

Phillips survived last night.
Next week, one more contestant will be eliminated & I think Hollie's time is up.
I still see Joshua as one of the two finalists & the other seat is still vacant.

Jessica Sanchez
Phillip Phillips
Joshua Ledet
Hollie Cavanagh
The final 2 should be Joshua Ledet & Jessica Sanchez, but Joshua will win.
As soon as the latest performances are available from "youtube", I will upload for your enjoyment.

Just finished watching tonight's American Idol, & I have not changed my observation.
Hollie will be voted out this week.
Phillip Phillips will be voted out next week.
The final has to be between Joshua & Jessica. The winning margin will be extremely narrow, but it will go to Joshua. |

If you follow American Idol 2012 + reviewed my #1 & #5, I picked only 3 candidates among all the contestants & all three are now in the final three.
Ben-gor, you should not doubt my hearing ability-la. 
The final 3 had their duel last evening. We will have the results tonight, based by TV viewers' votes.
I stand by my choice of Jessica Vs Joshua in the final. |

I dozed off in front of the TV 15' into the program & misssed last night's show completely, but was told that Joshua got voted out! 
Whenever TV viewers cast their votes to decide the outcome, this will happen.
Even B4 the result was announced, Jimmy - the final 3's mentor commented on each finalists' performance, he was skeptical of Phillip Phillips' chances of survival, based on WED's performance.
Anyway, due to his looks, PP for sure, has A LOT of teenage girl supporters & escaped elimination at least 2 previous times.
So the final is between Jessica & PP. Who is to be crowned next week?
Based on singing ability, Jessica should win, hands down.
Based on real talent - interpretation of song & presents it in a different manner, PP should win, without a doubt. However, PP often picked not-so-popular songs for his interpretation & was not appreciated. The lucky thing is, PP got millions of teenage girls' votes so far. These loyal followers will bring PP to the throne.
The other thing to consider too. The Americans will not say it because it is politically incorrect, they want to see a white American win, & not an Asian/Hispanic, unfortunately Jessica belongs to this group.
