THE HUNT FOR & KILLING OF YAMAMOTO:

Yamamoto was the master mind of the attack on Pearl Harbour.  The following videos which were produced in China, based on historical events, depict the life, his rise & death of Yamamoto in the hands of US pilots.

Spend some time, go through the videos, & re-live history:

US TRAINS JAPANESE TROOPS FOR AMPHIBIOUS ASSAULT

http://nation.time.com/2013/06/1 ... d-waters/?hpt=hp_t5

The above is significant not only for the joint exercise but also for subtly putting US support in Japan's island disputes with neighbouring countries, particularly China.

The issue of Diaoyu Island was created by ignorant USA politicians.

Diaoyu Island, which are closer to Taiwan than Okinawa, was never part of Ryuku Islands (the Japanese call them Okinawa), it has always been part of Taiwan Hsien during the Ching Dynasty.

Even maps published by Japan during its occupation of Taiwan, clearly marked Diaoyu Islands as part of Taiwan!

After WWII, USA put troops on Ryuku for its existing military facilities.  Daioyu Islands are just some barren rocks sticking out of the ocean.  There is no fresh water supply & no flat land long enough to accommodate runways & Diaoyu Islands were ignored, but never by the two Chinese Governments.

When perceived oil deposits & fishery resources became an issue & USA returned Ryuku's administrative authority to Japan in the late 80's, Japan started to lay claims on Diaoyu Islands.   However, both Chinese governments needed investments & international recognition, which played right into the hands of Japan.

In recent years, as a result of growing economic & military power, China (the one on the mainland) started flexing its muscles to demonstrate to Japan that China will not take this shit from Japan.

Militarily, Japan is no match for China today & therefore, the joint military exercise.

Keep watching how this develops.  Don't forget Japan also has island dispute with Korea, which I don't know enough to comment.

American Idol 2013

Last night the contestants were reduced to 10 & it was the first time this year that I watched the show.  I have been pretty good in picking the winner for the past 5 talent shows.  I said that I didn’t want to spoil my winning streak, but can’t resist the temptation of another try.
I think 2013 is the year for a girl to shine, & my first pick is:

My second choice but not as good as my first is:

There was a white girl in black tight pants who has a country music voice, she was good too.  (I can't find her video from Youtube right now.)

揭秘《毛泽东鲜为人知的故事》. Duration:  29’ 16”
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VvYUgd8gEas

The  video is discussion of a book written by a 高幹子弟 who was among the first to be sent abroad for studies, subsequently painstakingly spent many years going thru CCP official publications plus interviews of retired officials who were close to Mao or who were present when the “movements” were introduced.
You have to view it to understand Mao, the person, the cheater, the liar, the tyrant, and the mass murderer!

HOW CHINA FOOLED THE WORLD - DOCUMENTARY

First of all, “fooled” might be a misnomer; it is actually a very educational documentary, outlining how China out-performed the world during the world’s financial crisis, & what are problems which we can expect from the Chinese Government’s maneuvers.
The documentary cannot provide solutions to possible future problems but suggested that an increased personal spending instead of saving might steer China into another era of growth, albeit a more realistic growth.

How China Fooled The World – Documentary.  Duration:  58’ 28”.

The Assasination of the 1st Prime Minister of Japan

他 击毙了日本第一任首相伊藤博文 .  Duration:  40’ 30”

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=m7B8wAhUeVQ

Very educational documentary, I didn’t know this part of Asian history at all.  According to the video, 伊藤博文 was the first prime minister of Japan. He master-minded the grand plan of building a Japanese Empire, by first colonizing Korea, then "swallow" China.  Had 伊藤博文 not been assassinated, Japan's imperialization Plan will move at a faster pace.

Anyway, well worth your time in viewing the video.
