i am thinking to get either Canon 5d mark iii or sony a7 ii, which is a better chose? hint i am buying for my first camera i have no shooting exp. and no lens so any advise will be greatly appreciate thanks

Why get a DSLR for your first camera? Are you sure you will lug that big thing around with you all the time? Are you sure you need all its capabilities?

i just want to be able to use a camera at least for 3 years before i upgrade a new body, i hear DSLR like Canon or Nikon has more selection lens and cheaper 3rd party but if i go with Sony A7ii i don't have that many chose and what is better way to learn photography DSLR or Mirrorless?

Any camera that you get today will have all the features that will keep you satisfy for years. the most important is where you are taking your camera and what you are shooting. there is a huge discrimation problem in the photography world today. i try to bring my DSLR camera to a tennis game in york universiþ and the big sign said no professional camera which they mean is DSLR with long tele lens. if you have a small point and shoot is ok.
