Hmmm... My theory for this is Strength in Numbers, when there is more number of girls, there is a higher probability of having good looking girls. This theory is backed up by:
Central Limit Theorem - the arithmetic mean of a sufficiently large number of iterates of independent random variables, each with a well-defined expected value and well-defined variance, will be approximately normally distributed http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Central_limit_theorem
Imagine that 3000 girls, that is a big sample, their rating number in face/body rating forms a bell curve, where majority resides in the average rating, you will still be able to find a few good ones, no guarantee though, there is a slim chance that 0/3000 is good looking, but the probability is extremely low, though it can happen if the king is unlucky. |
