I think this type of survey won't be reliable. Insecure guys will lie and exaggerate SPECIFICALLY BECAUSE OF ONLINE ANONYMITY. There is no way to disprove them, and they can counter-attack any criticism as arising from jealousy. Whereas, it is unfeasible for an online self-proclaim handsome guy to make the same boast in real life if he is not.

For some people, the internet is the only place where they can safely pretend to be what they are not in real life (tough guys, handsome guys, ladies' men, etc).
