Whilst I agree with your assessment. Correct  Many old school bros dont use internet. And the  sample size of the poll voters is very small.  I noted the term "diectional trend" meaning statiscally a large margin of error. That being said something ponder -  My anecdotal chats with some keepers in the past would say business has materially dropped compared to prior to good times pre financial crisis.   Upwards of 20-30% drop.     So are traditional keepers starving and barely surviving ? No. Are feeling a slow down pinch?  Yes.

Prediction -  based on trend of condo and real estate market sales declining and avg canadian debt load:income of 160% it  is highly probable there is a high probability of keeper revenue erosion.

I dont mind paying $140 but I want a quality meal, dimsum or kimchi, not 30+ midgirl sagging everything. Or so so looking mms and being restrictive. Sourcing of good mms is always a problem, look at LCY, at the beginning they become the young dimsum "dailo" and all of a sudden they are almost extinct? White meat seemed to be the going eating trend soon!

it's very difficult to manage the shop if all the MMs are all PTs. they may all want to work weekends but you can't keep them all, so they may jump to another agency

47 hunters  .  almost 70 percent will spend less or will take a break.    Lets say accuracy is off by half, this is not good for keepers and mm.  

Can any keeper or mm comment  if there is any validity to the poll?

Rates must come down. We pay more than most developed countries such as Japan, Germany, etc.... It's a matter of price elasticity.

Not going to happen YET.  The traditional agency have a unspoken understanding to maintain premium price levels like the gas and telco oligopoly.  If one drops price the others must follow and depress profit margins,   Only new entrants will try to undercut but have hard time cause no trust and awareness from hunters  because newbie factor.   If a newbie becomes popular then dirty tricks or more direct threats are actioned by big boys or girls.

Only until there is a major disruption in their revenue due to economic and increased competition  will they lower price.

I agree with what you are saying, but this type of 'monopoly' or 'price fixing' only hurts the industry.  It hurts the end users and limits true competition.

I strongly support the pricing reduce movement! $140 /hh only apply to super quality mm.  otherwize 100 -120 is acceptable donation.  We should come up with a plan to ban

I personally don't quite like Kimchi because of their mechanically service and there is no good quality Dimsum mm out there, so my bank account looks much better lately.
I hope I can use more $$$ because we can make money for many year but not make love forevere.
