I agree with Southern Ontario's forecast because just like 2017, we had a warmer than usual summer, i.e. the lake water is warm and will neutralize any cold spells, which means the temperature would be lingering between +1 C to -2 or -3 C, which is ideal for snow  falls.

So by end-OCT, we must get ready for the winter, i.e.  tune up our snow blowers (please read my posts on that subject), stock up on de-icing salt, and wind shield fluid, and shovels too if the snow blower won't start!

Also always warm up first before you shovel to prevent injury!

Living in a condo has its "pains" too, e.g. high management fees, BBQ-ing not allowed, certain breeds and size of pets not allowed, no elevator service when you need it most.

True. But they are adapting tenants' needs now. As if, the place where I'm living now, it provides free BBQ area. For pet, since I barely can feed myself now, I'm not dreaming that far. But for the elevator, that could be a problem. Hmmm……

As far as I know, a lot of condo MGT does not allow pets, and if allow, the size and number that a tenant can keep are restricted.

Most condo will not allow BBQing, having a public BBQ area is even more rare.
