While 747 does not required score in a review I will say why I think it's needed and very beneficial. it's very powerful when you can quantify a review. Sometimes it's more helpful to give a face score of 4 than writing an essay.
Now score is very subjective and that is why you cannot just look at a review score. This is how I use the score in a reivew.
1. I first read the description too
2. Then I check the reviewer history to see how he give out score. this is especially beneficial if the reviewer have reviewed a girl you have seen then you can adjust his score. let's say he say girl A and B have face score of 8 and 7. I have seen girl B and my score is 6. then i can adjust girl score A and estimate A should be a 7 to me.
without the scoring. reading the reviewers past post is not too meaningful except to check is he a shrill.
