The 9-18 Incident

Today is the anniversary of the infamous 9-18 Incident which started the Sino-Japanese war.  A lot of us have forgotten this important date (me included), instead of writing, I searched and posted the above.

As usual, let us start boycotting Japanese goods.  I know it might be hard to comply, but do your best!

If a country is weak, it is bound to be taken advantage of.  Especially during the COLONIAL AGES.

US fought Brits for independence trigger by Tea tax.
Yet US support corrupt Vietnamese puppet leadership to stop the independence sought Vietnamese.
US lost 50K lives, South Viet army 250K,  North Viet army 1 million, All Civilian 2 million.  Just to stop of domino effect of Communism.

Someone joked that giving each Vietnamese the money US spend for the war, all Vietnamese will be CAPITALIST to make money,  make love not war, like they say.

Money corrupts, not invaders.

We need a sincere apology from the Japanese Govt (not followed subsequently by PM visits to their National Shrine to honour war criminals!) + re-amending text books to reflect the truth!

While we can be generous for not asking for war compensation for damages and looting done by the Japanese military during the War, this should not be interpreted as a sign of weakness.  Unless this is done, the score has to be settled!

I want to see a Japanese PM kneel at Nanjing's War Memorial to express his remorse the same way a German Chancellor (Brandt) did when he went to Warsaw!
