Is there any easy ways to become a professional lawyer in Canada?

Hello fellas! Recently I am feeling being a lawyer would be really coooool. However my current major is not in any subject of a law school. So I just wonder, is there any other way to become a professional lawyer instead of taking a four or more years program at a university?

Can I self-study and then take a exam or something then got a certificate? Just wonder about the mechanisms.

Actually, not just in Canada, anywhere in the world is good

Define "easy", in my definition, my answer to your question is no

Simple answer, NO.

Lawyers, doctors, engineers, etc... these are prestigious professional occupations for a reason. They are not easy. You need to be both smart and willing to work hard to achieve it.

If it was easy and anybody could do it, it wouldn't be cool anymore.

PS: Picking a career just because you think it seems cool now is about as sensible and mature as the 5 year old who plays with a toy rocketship and tells his parents that he is going to be an astronaut when he grows up.

PSS: Paralegal and legal assistant are not the same as lawyer. They just do the routine (boring) work that lawyers don't have time to do.
