Sino-Indian Border Dispute & CNN

I will start by saying that CNN is hopelessly lacking in covering world affairs.  The dispute between the world's most populous and "nuclear weaponned armed" countries were locked in a border (?) dispute and CNN didn't even have a single sentence on it!  Shame on CNN!

Anyway, the whole incident came to a conslusion after a stalmate of about 2+ months.

It started when Indian border troops transpassed into Chinese territory and would not leave.  Indian's complaint was that China was upgrading/building highways/supply routes in Chinese territory which might constitute a threat to the security of Bhutan, a small Bhudist country between China and India.

At that time, US (the toruble-maker in South China), Japan (the messenger or in Cantonese, the shit bowl stirer), and India were having joint military practices in the Indian Ocean.

China didnt want to give USA + Japan to mess things up, China also didn't want to start a war unless absolutely necessary.  Prosperity grows in peace time not in any war.

Indian interpreted this as a sign of weakness and refused to leave, while trying to solicit support from Russian, and of course USA and Japan + using Bhutan as a cover.

Militarily, India is no match for China, the outcome is predictable.  IMHO, in terms of military capability, & in their proper order, they are USA, China, Russia.  India is not even among the top 5!

When all efforts to seek India's peaceful withdrawal failed. China was all prepared to give India an lesson just like in 1962

India also discovered that none of the countries which India counted on, didn't want to get involved, so India withdrew border troops from Chinese territory quietly while claiming victory .

Although the incident came to an end, it has created irreconcillable tension on relations which will take years to rebuild because India's intention came to the open.

India has considered itself a "power" in S. Asia with unspecified intentions in territories bordering China and India and behaves like a pick-pocketor when China is distracted.
