It only happens in Canada! O Canada!
Omar is a convicted killer who fought for the Taliban at a young age of 15. Please note when a minor commits an adult crime, he must serve an adult sentence!
He was sent to Guantanomo Bay (a US military base in Cuba) for imprisonment, where he was tortured. Obama - the political clown, promised in his first presidential election campaign to close the Guantanomo prison.
After Obama was elected, Guantanamo prisoners with lesser crimes were released (many went back to fight for Taliban!); those with more serious crimes were detained waiting to be transferred to US States, but none of the States wanted to accept, so Obama turned to the prisoners' country of citizenship.
Omar falls into this category, and was sent to Canada where he fought his case, abusing Canada's legal system and using our hard earned tax dollar!
Omar's argument was that he was tortured and should be compensated. Yes, he did, but what has that got to do with Canada??? Canada did not tortured Omar!
Omar killed several American GIs, including an army medic who was not even armed but was there to save lives. Omar deserves a bullet on the head,, nothing else.
The legal case dragged on for many years, Steve Harper's Government consistently beat Omar's application for release. Then the pot smoking, gay-loving, "the budget will balance itself" Trudeau came to power who not only felt Omar should be released, but also to offer him an apology PLUS $10.5 million (mind you, that is OUR $) for the trouble.
Omar was quickly paid for fear that the widow of the American medic will apply for a stop to it.
So, if you are not a Muslim, you should consider becoming one, because if you die for Allah, there will be 4 virgins waiting for you in Heaven. If you survive, the Canadian Govt will pay you to ensure that you will live a happy life, have 4 wives under the Muslim law and produce more young terrorists.
$10.5 million is more than Omar can ever make in 10 lifetimes!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
