Just saw on CBC about UBER in town of Innisfil (think there is an ICE wine under that name in S. Ontario).
Population 35K.
Instead of relying on public transit (ie BUSES etc) , they are going the 100% UBER route.
So residents will call for the UBER, being it single rider or POOL. The difference between the higher UBER rate will be full or partially subsidized by the town. It sure is a WIN WIN situation.
Wait till the arrival of DRIVER LESS cars , how convenient.
