But this solar system is 2 in one. Both the solar panel and tile together, where is the regular one is a ROOF and then Solar panel (heavy) on top of the roof.

The roofing shingle/solar panels might be at par with traditional roofing, but the house owner will also need to install the battery pack(s) at the very minimum. We'll have to see when the prices are announced.

However, in Ontario, we can choose to sell the extra electricity back to the utility companies via sell-back contracts, so there's an off-set for cost there.

Basically, we'll need to crunch some numbers when all the prices for the entire system are out.

Even if cost benefit analysis with rebate from hydro for feedback into the system is Favorable. The problem is to only install them with NEW house or Roof over 20 years old to renew not with any roof when not old enough.

Of course.

It only makes sense to install the Tesla roof when it's time to replace the existing roof or building a new house.

So far, all the public announcements said the Tesla roof is for public use. It is supposed to give people an option when it's time to change their roof shingles. BUT we can only be sure when the products are officially released and for sale.
