I think most of us have forgotten about JUN 04 198X (1987 or 88). Anyway, today is the anniversary of that event   .
China has gone a long way since that event which brought along social stability of close to 30 years, economic reforms, and finally emerging as the world's economic power. It was a sad event of soldiers and tanks being used against innocent citizens, quite a lot of whom were just by-standers.
Of all the key political key players of that time, only Li Peng is still alive (?). History will give this event a fair judgment, meantime, all Chinese, regardless of political orientations and geographic locations/divisions, must move on towards a unified China!
