Always thought that Apple or if you can find Android store can fix you up with your PIN locked phone or macbook. IE. Get you back onto your unit with ALL your data untouched.
I actually went to the store and got it reimaged and therefore data all gone. But thought if I want to, they can get back my data.
Not as FBI tried to make Apple to find a backdoor that does NOT exist even for Apple.
May be as original owner of unit, there might be ways to do it. BUT NOT AS COMPLETE STRANGER to the unit, as FBI are. Like old pw as of whatever last backup or whatever.
So backup your data and often. No way to get it back if you lost your PIN and set up unit self destructed (data wize) after 10 pw attempts. |
