I suspect the initial 150 are those who have previously submitted immigration applications before fleeing their respective countries or already have sponsors in Canada.
Anyway, these 150 should be "clean" and we have nothing to worry about.
163 refugees arrived yesterday. JT and other high ranking Federal and Provincial government officials greeted them at the airport.
WTF, are these refugees heads of states to deserve this treatment?? Any middle ranking official from Immigration Dept should be more than sufficient.
JT has no idea of basic diplomatic protocol. What if the next USA president visits Canada, which they always do, and the greeting entourage is less impressive as the one given to the refugees??? What message will the visiting president get?
