pc is not friendly towards china, if he were more aggressive, canada would have selling a lot more to china, australia is taking the full advantage of it. relying on usa, the pipe line is not even built for the next 10 years. in this aspect, it is not good for canada export

Agree. But we do not pay the gst on gas before. With HST, we pay 13% instead of 8%

You must be talking about the old, old days of Mulroney years who introduced HST.  Liberals fought against it, but when Liberals came to power, it embraced it.

Government's hands are always in gas revenue.  The difference is the name in calling it.

Also, correct me if I am wrong, Mulroney year's Conservatives went extinct, Harper's Conservatives (even the full party name is different) is a "united front" of the old Conservatives + something.  Harper was the first time that  Canada's political power moved from Quebec to the west.
