Beijing to host 2022’sWinter Games. I see this as a white elephant and not “national pride”because as it is right now, Beijing gets only light snow flakes in the winter,given another global warming & climate changes of 7 years, Beijing may nothave any snow at all.
Artificial snow is a possibility but expensive and not deep enough forcompetition.
Heilunggiang is a better choice. Let us wait and see!
