I finally found a video showing ALL the penalty kicks of 1999's WWCS final between USA & China:

Just as I said B4, I watched the live telecast that year, the US goalie rushed forward each & every time when Chinese players took the penalty kick, & was never cautioned or given a yellow card.      

The time when the Chinese player missed the penalty kick, the US goalie actually rushed almost 6 yards, narrowing the available space for the Chinese player, forcing her to make a more acute shot & missed.

As I said B4, if re-taken & scored, it will be 5 - 5, and there will be a  sudden death penalty kick, there is a 50-50 chance that China can win or lose, but the referee deprived China of this opportunity.

With hind sight, had China won in 1999 & USA lost, women soccer will never be so popular as it is today.

I am glad that I found this video & for the record, USA's WWSC win in 1999 was over-shadowed by poor referee decision.

Absolutely.   Please read my #69.  Please note that USA must bench two important players during that game with China because they received an accumulated two yellow cars in previous games.

Please also note that USA transformed into a different team AFTER the German game.  If there is a game, right now, between China & USA, USA can probably score more.
Watch out for China 4 year from now.

After winning the 2015's World Cup, Team USA had a victory (may be still going on) tour in USA cities to entertain/thank the fans.

The above video is the latest showing a game between USA and Brazil.  It was a very good/exciting game, well worth watching it.  I will not tell you the result, this way you must watch video.
