Unfortunately this shows exactly why many garages use dishonest tactics that seem short-sighted at first.

For all the huffing and puffing and frustrated proclamations of "I will never go back there for ripping me off", once that garage gets another quality girl, the wolf bros come crawling back again.

On the other hand, garages that run scrupulously and build up a good reputation? That and $1.50 will get them a cup of coffee. Customer loyalty in this business ain't worth peanuts. The minute they fail to attract talent, all that customer loyalty evaporates.

No point dwelling on the morality of what's right or wrong. It is what it is.
