人民何時取得一人一票選舉權？
美國男白人 - 獨立宣言後12年 (等待憲法擬訂和生效)
美國女白人 - 獨立宣言後144年
美國黑人 - 獨立宣言後189年
香港市民 - 回歸後20年或不詳（視乎普選方案會否被否決）
Ÿ 提名機制和選舉決定權：
美國總統候選人由政黨提名但必須取得寡頭財閥金主認可和支持［如奧巴馬2012年大選就籌得11億美元］。但真正決定當選與否的是小圈子「選舉團」(Electoral College)的535票而非老百姓的選民票(popular vote)。［戈爾在2000年雖在選民票勝出。但就是因為「選舉團」票以266:271而敗於布殊手下。］。對美國老百姓來說，選舉其實是一場「二害取其輕 lesser of 2 evils」的遊戲。所以投票率一向不高。到底美國那一套「國際模式」是「真普選」還是「假普選」值得大家好好思量。
香港特首現擬由四個界別的1200提名委員會委員提名。由5百萬合資格選民選出。再由中央委任。
------------ 比較了港美之間的普選實況之後，你還覺得值得去「瞓街」和堵塞交通來妨礙街坊搵食嗎？這是獅子山下守望相助的精神嗎？奇怪的是香港的政黨和學者們為甚麼沒有將這些事實向市民披露呢？是孤陋寡聞還是別有原因？
美國《商業週刊》昨天引述專家稱一旦「佔中」持久化，香港經濟便有機會陷入衰退。香港家長應勸喻年輕人不要把上兩代辛辛苦苦掙取回來的經濟成果一舖輸清。成為當代的敗家仔女！

老汤香港的所谓“普选”是一个笑话. 闹剧，香港是中国的一个区.
不是台湾或新加坡的一个独立国家.
普选就像是小学时代在自己的班级里选班长一样.
但班长是绝对顺从老师或校长的命令的对不对.
班长（行政长官）仅仅只是一个人“帮助”老师管理班室的人.
明白吗？

真正的普选是十六亿人民一人一票选国家最高领导人.
明白吗.
佔中一开始就是注定没有结局的和是两败俱伤的.
但一定也要站出来，一定要让全世界人都知道香港人是对真民主的渴求.
有没有看过鲁迅先生的“呐喊”.
我想你也沒有，整天都挂着维园踢波及庙街叫鸡.哈哈.
里面有一段是这样子的；
‘假如一间铁屋子，是绝无窗户而万难破毁的，里面有许多熟睡的人们，不久都要闷死了，然而是昏睡入死灭，并不感到就死的悲哀。现在你大嚷起来，惊起了较为清醒的几个人，使这不幸的少数者来受无可挽救的临终的苦楚，你倒以为对得住他们么？’

Your illustration seems correct but not exact.
HK's election are given under the constitution of 基本法 (Signed by British & China in 1984). Enhanced further recently that
Hk's 班长(行政长官) 帮助”基本法"管理班室的人.
In USA there are states election also. Which would be a better illustration.
基本法 is kind of Federal law (USA) that applied to all their 班室.

什么是基本法呢？
就是有什么问题时，不明不白时，灰色地带时就由亚爷（全国人大）释法.
也就是说以亞爷的答案为答案.

For the time being 基本法 implemented only to HK and Macau. It originally intends to be applied in Taiwan.
基本法 is a step, continue of testing, whether Chinese are understand what are true 民主.
民主 not applied only to what you want. It also applied to what OTHER people wants. The core elements are whether people basic needs being fulfilled. (such as FOOD & SEX). |

True 民主 would come if everybody 拥有 their own knowledge/hand/hardship. And peace/share mind.
True 民主 would NOT come if there are people "fight" for their own desires (by ignoring others).

The HK protestors are asking for the impossible & it will never happen, i.e. one person one vote to elect the Administrator of SAR.
The HK Adm has no right to grant it. If they want it, they must get it from the "Peoples' National Assembly" in Beijing.
Beijing will never grant it because once a precedent is established, what about other provinces, cities, & autonomous Region (in particular Xinjiang). It could also spell the disintegration of China, that is what foreign countries want to see, particularly Japan, then it is easier to assimulate China, a small piece at a time.
As far as I know, only two countries in the world to-day, in which one-person-one-vote is used to elect the Heasd of State - Switzerland & Taiwan.
I don't even see China achieving that stage in 50 years .................
The HK protestors have turned violent lately, it is time to unleash the HK Police to maintain law or order and let those who have mouths to feed to do some business & earn some money for food.

400 years ago Male dominates all living creatures including human, animals society etc
Male born with strength. In human society male gain education and access all priorities when supplies finite. At that time female is no more than a reproductive machine. Female are slaves. They earned no 選舉權even USA implemented FREE VOTE (for man only). Times go on USA females earned respects from education then,選舉權 followed. It was 144 years behind man. Then (black) slaves.
When launching new system it needs time to test if the systems work. Bugs (such as female or slave) would ruin it all.[Here female/salves refers to HK's Ignorant, violence, stubborn person]
