I usually drain & change oil, oil filter, + drain the fuel tank, end of the last season.  If you have not do it, it is not too late, follow the steps outlined in the above viedo.

The carburetor clean-up portion of the video is NOT as good as the videos under "Snow Blower".  FYI, snow blower & lawn mower carburetors work the same way.  If you know how to clean, adjust one, you know how to do the other one. Identifying the "timing" problem is good. If you are a DIY handy-man, you will enjoy this video.
