I think I went through similar growth in the past. There were too many "weakness" moments in my inner self that made opportunities slip.
One part that especially resonated with me is how the girl goes through different thoughts about whether she should "give in" at the critical moment. It captures the situation really well. I've had success and failures at that very moment multiple times and I can almost always later understand why for each situation.
