The next event is the 2019 Italian F-1 GP this coming SUN (SEP08 2019).

Italians are the world's craziest motor racing fans, aside from soccer.   With LeClerc getting better and better, they yearn for a Ferrari win.  Although MB has the 2019 Drivers and Manufacturers title locked up, will not give up an inch, and don't forget Max, the other young star from Red Bull.

This year's Italian GP will be exciting and interesting!

As a fan of Ferrari and LeClerc, I hope he can keep giving Mercedes and Hamilton a challenge to keep F1 interesting.

In today's Qualifying Session, 8 out of 10 in the final group did not have a time, including Hamilton - the championship leader, because they were all driving at a slow pace before the timed lap so that they can follow the car in front closely to take advantage of "slip-streaming" which might give them a 0.01" advantage.

Without a time in the final qualifying session means whatever time these 8 drivers posted in the previous session will be their time to decide their starting grid.

So, we have Leclerc, Hamilton, Bottas, Vettel.

Charles Leclerc won the 2019 Italian F-1 GP but not without some controversy:
1.  He forced Hamilton out of the track when the latter was attempting an overtake.
2.  He then cut a corner which should be forced to give up the lead, but this is an Italian GP and the Stewards kept quiet.  However, even if he did, Hamilton's tires will not last.

When Hamilton faded, Bottas sped up to renew the fight.  Leclerc stood firm, lasted and won the race.

Vettel, oh yes, that dirty driver, he spun, rejoined the race without even looking, forcing the following car to avoid him.  It was too late, the following car drove over his left front wing, damaged it, unfortunately, the following car spun as a result.

Best part is Stroll complained about Vettel's rejoin and went on to do the exact same thing. Not the best day for both drivers. I'm glad LeClerc was able to hold on and win.

The 2019 F-1 season is coming to the final stretch.  This coming Sunday will be the Singapore F-1 GP.

Due to 12 hrs' time difference, live telecast will be just after midnight.  So, it is a choice between sleep and hobby, or watch replay later on at a more reasonable time.

The 2019 Singapore F-1 FP will be held in Singapore's evening, so we can watch the live telecast at 0800 Toronto time!  Thank God!

After the Official Time Trial, the top 2 rows will be made up of LeClerc, Hamilton, Vettel, and Bottas, then the also-runs.

LeClerc with 4 pole positions to his credit in as many races, has already sealed the #1 driver position in Ferrari.  Vettel better start looking for a new nest or accept retirement!!

The race is still going on, but I can predict the final result now.

It will be Vettel, Leclerc, Max, then Hamilton.
