No, he won't because:
1. The signature on his contract with MB, signed only a few months back, is not yet dry.
2. His relationship with MB is very good.
3. MB is perceived to have better technology than Ferrari.
4. His sentimental attachment to a team runs deep. His first team was McClaren which was not competitive after his 2nd year, and yet he stayed for five. He struggled about his departure; Hamilton's Dad was his agent/manager then, who advised against it; finally he fired his Dad as his Manager and joined MB.
5. Ferrari has Charles Le Clerc who performed better than Vettel in the first 2 races of 2019, the urgency to find a good driver is gone.
I do think Ferrari will dump Vettel after his contract expires. |
