USA Returning Land to Japan Held Since WWII:

The land referred to are military camps on the Island of Ryuku Islands which the Japanese called it Okinawa.
Let us not forget that Ryuku Islands belonged to China and was taken away from the Ching Dynasty after the first war between Ching Dynasty and Japan. However, one of the conditions of Japan's unconditional surrender in WWII was, Japan must return all territories occupied in previous wars which would include Ryuku Islands and Taiwan.
Taiwan was returned, however, Ryuku Islands were never returned as US decided to exercise "Administrative Authority" on the islands. China was so busy with domestic war (Nationalist/Communist) and never bothered to ask.
Either in 60's or 70's (need to do a research to verify the year), USA unilaterally decided to give up this "AA" and without consulting a WWII ally - China which is the legal owner, decided to give it to Japan, but held on to the above-mentioned military camps.
Taiwan didn't say a thing as it relied on USA for security while China was too absorbed in its domestic movements, e.g. cultural revolution and the political purges which followed, also militarily too weak to do anything, said nothing as well.
US politicians NEVER study Asian history and in recent years because of its desire to contain China while using Japan to do the leg work, compounded previous historical mistakes.
Another example of USA's mistake was supporting Japan's territorial claim re Diaoyu Islands which have always been part of Taiwan. Even after Japan's annexation of Taiwan (the result of another Ching Dynasty/Japan War), even Japan's published maps listed Diaoyu Islands as part of Taiwan, and so when Taiwan was returned to China after WWII as per Japan's surrender conditions, these uninhabited islands which are close to Taiwan should be Taiwan's territory.
As a Chinese, we must remember these events.
One day, when China is the undisputed military power in the world, sovereignty of Ryuku Islands must be re-established.
(The big bully USA hasn't said anything re Japan's attempts to get some islands back from Russian which Russia occupied after WWII. The reason is simply for fear of starting WWIII whch USA might win but will not survive unscathed! I said all along that USA is is a nation of no principles.)
